Reviews and Testimonials:
This video helps my sore and stiff back, neck,
arms, and legs
This is an amazing video, and my favorite of the two I
purchased. I also bought Anne Getty's pre & post natal
yoga. Anne's is good, but much less active and a little
boring, in my opinion. I prefer this Vinyasa yoga with
Jennifer More, as it is relaxing, strengthening, and has
the most options to suit any ability level and yoga need.
The poses are my favorites. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant,
and this video helps my sore and stiff back, neck, arms,
and legs. It increases my circulation and helps me practice
relaxation and breathing for labor. Jennifer inspires me
and I wish she could be my doula! I had a small amount
of experience with vinyasa yoga before my pregnancy (only
about 4-6 weeks of classes) and then was not active for
my first trimester due to extreme nausea. I was able to
start right back in after being inactive for a long time,
following modifications. This video will challenge and
grow with my practice and prepare me well for labor and
delivery. I only wish I had more time to do it every day!

Fantastic Shorter Prenatal Yoga Practices
I am now 31 weeks pregnant, and I
had been checking Amazon almost daily to see when this
dvd would be available, because I love Jennifer More's
first prenatal DVD so much. This, too, is terrific and
allows you to fit in a yoga practice when you have limited
time. There are 15, 30, and 45 minute routines, all with
final relaxation at the end. Yoga has made such a difference
in how I feel in this pregnancy, and I have a lot of gratitude
to Jennifer for producing this DVD. The practices are challenging,
but not too challenging, and she shows a lot of modifications.
I am not crazy about the instrumental music during the
final relaxations, but that is the only negative comment
I have about this DVD. If you practiced ashtanga or vinyasa
yoga before pregnancy, you will LOVE this DVD.
Head and shoulders above the other videos I've
tried
I've been trying a lot of prenatal fitness videos lately,
and I haven't been all that impressed. My husband bought
me this one for Christmas and it is head and shoulders
above the other videos I've tried...
The modifications she's made to create a vinyasa that will
work in pregnancy feel very fluid to me (e.g., moving the
thumbs together in downward-facing dog to allow room for
a leg to come forward around a big belly). I tried some
more strenuous yoga with my first pregnancy and found it
too much for me, but this time around, with this video,
I feel challenged but strong, especially in my arms and
upper body. I'm also still experiencing the late 1st trimester
exhaustion and was worried this would just leave me more
tired; on the contrary, I left the practice feeling energized.
My 3.5-year-old loved it, too. She did the 15-minute practice
with me and then asked to do it again when we were done!
This really works well while I try to fit in exercise and keep up with a preschooler. I love that I can choose to do a 15-, 30- or 45-minute practice.
Jennifer understands that just because you are pregnant
doesn't mean you can't move.
This is a terrific DVD and I highly recommend it. Jennifer
is a great instructor and easy to follow. It is more challenging
than other DVDs I have tried, but that is a very good thing.
Other DVDS have pregnant women sitting on a chair for many
poses. Jennifer understands that just because you are pregnant
doesn't mean you can't move. Her tips for labor poses are
really helpful too.
It's a good workout and has kept me flexible and feeling
stronger
Great video - exactly what I was looking for I had been
doing yoga once/wk at my local gym before I got pregnant
- at 20 wks my OB told me to stop doing "regular people" yoga,
so I purchased this video - I think it's great - the moves
are very similar to the basic ones from the class I was
taking, but modified for pregnancy - you spend a lot more
time close to the floor... It's a good workout and has
kept me flexible and feeling stronger for the past 10 weeks
or so...

This workout style is such a great way to feel good during
your pregnancy.
I bought this DVD because I needed some shorter workout
options during my pregnancy. I have Jennifer's first DVD
and LOVE the workout so much that I thought this would
be a great compliment to it. The 15 minute workout is great
on those days you just don't have time to get a whole workout
in. All of the routines are different and therefore can
be done in combination with each other, as well, for a
longer workout. This workout style is such a great way
to feel good during your pregnancy. I always feel so refreshed
and challenged after completing Jennifer's Vinysas Yoga
style. All in all, I think Jennifer has outdone herself
with her new DVD!
Great Yoga at a Great Price
After reading reviews for prenatal
dvds, i opted for this one because 1) hints that the yoga
would be challenging and strength building and 2) the 15-
30- and 45- minute options. My husband and I practice with
the dvd 3x a week and he enjoys the workout as well. Also,
a great feature is that the instructor does modification
for 1st trimester while she is joined by pregnant students
who do modifications for both the 2nd and 3rd trimester.
The dvd is a great alternative to attending prenatal classes
that while being beneficial can add up financially. Also,
other reviews of Jennifer More's prenatal practices critique
the rest and relaxing segment at the end of the practice,
I find it simple to stop the dvd and do my own.
Great Options
I love this DVD. I like that it has
3 different time options so that even if you are in a hurry,
you can still get the 15 minute practice in. The instructor
moves along at a flowing speed. It has some nice hip stretches
which have helped me to sleep better. It's good for all
three trimesters.
Excellent! Challenging!!! Rewarding!!!
This is a fantastic YOGA video for
pregnant women, however, it is very clear that this video
is for those women who are familiar with yoga, particularly
vinyasa yoga. In
addition, I believe the workouts are extremely challenging
and one who is beginning (someone who wants to take on
the challenge) needs to begin very slowly (Jennifer does
make adequate modifications, but I agree that there is
still a lot of explanation missing for beginners!). It
is also true that having done the workouts in the video
one feels extremely strong, motivated, and full of energy,
but I wouldn't say it's a video that is "soft" on
a pregnant woman's body. It's challenging!!! It's hard
and it's for those women who are physically accustomed
to yoga AND WANT TO CONTINUE practicing the physical rewards
that vinyasa yoga provides while being pregnant. In this
way, I firmly beleive this video is empowering. Again,
the only point I want to make is that it is not a video
that provides "relaxation" and "relief"-it's
more a difficult workout! The extra perk is that if one
is busy, you can use the 15 min workout and get a great
workout. If one has a bit more time, you can complete the
30 or 45 min workouts that leave you SWEATY and sore!!!
A wonderful opportunity to squeeze in a workout on
busy days!

Although yoga is a safe form of exercise for pregnant women, every woman's
body is different and requires attention and awareness during any exercise
to ensure the body's well being. Please obtain permission from your doctor,
midwife or health provider before doing any prenatal exercise and most important,
listen to your body.
